Great Books for the Believer

 

Here are a few books I love because they are great for the believer.  

Crazy Love by Francis Chan.  This is an amazing book to be encouraged by God's love and what I can do with my life as a Christian.  

SLAVE by John MacArthur.  Some great information! Especially revolving the word slave and how we don't submit anymore to the Lord this way.  

Those Invisible Spirits Called Angels by Renald Showers.  I love this book because it gives you SO much information on angels and uses the Bible AND Cross References.  WHICH IS HUGE.  

Repentance: The First Word of the Gospel by Richard Owen Roberts. This is such a good book on repentance.  What it is, and how to apply it.  As well as true and false facts like "Blame the sin, not the sinner."

Tortured for Christ by Richard Wurmbrand. This is such a testament to Christ.  It makes me cry to read this book.  

The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel. This one is self-explanatory XD, but it really follows EVIDENCE on why Christ IS GOD.  

Six Days by Ken Ham. This book describes the first six days.

Hearts of Fire. This has various authors because it's about different women.  Very sad, and yet inspiring.  

Twelve Extraordinary Women (and Men) by John MacArthur.  About 12 men and women throughout history that have the greatest impact on our life today. 

The Cost of Discipleship by Dietrich Bonhoeffer. UGGHH This is A GREAT BOOK. 

Rebel with a Cause by Franklin  Graham. I loved this book growing up because it just shows through one mans life how so many were impacted, even when he himself wasn't saved. 

Now I linked Amazon books, but sometimes they can get expensive.  So you can always check Thriftbooks, or local used book stores.
