Songs of Nature
I
pine for the songs of Nature
Where the Lord’s Glory doth stand.
In the streets of the city, I miss
The peace that soothes the heart's desire.
Exploring beauty, free and clear,
The Creation of God makes me hear.
The nests, the birds, the deer so near
In nature’s realm, all things sit clear.
My heart yearns as I sit here,
For quiet places, among the fern.
To see His Beauty, vast and grand,
His Fingerprint on every strand.
Yet in this bustling city’s haze
Pollutions cloud my heart's ways.
But still, I dream of the grace of Nature,
And find His glory in each place.
