Seeking Solace to Freedom
Seeking Solace to Freedom
In the misty
dawn of my soul’s quest, I glimpsed Freedom—a distant, ethereal hue. Was it
escape, or truth unexpressed? I yearned to taste its bittersweet dew.
The road
stretched wide, a winding trail, And I drove away from shadows’ grip. Yet, the
weight of memories, like an anchor, prevailed, Their chains clung tight,
refusing to slip.
“Speak your
mind,” they said, “let truth unfurl,” But freedom’s words danced on fragile
wings. Was it worth the hype, this newfound pearl? I hesitated, unsure of the
song it sings.
Sin’s grip,
once iron, now rusted and frail, I broke free, gasping for life’s sweet breath.
Past wounds, like scars etched on a weathered sail, Faded as if kissed by the
hands of death.
To the store,
I wandered, mundane and free, Choosing aisles, not destinies, with care. Yet,
in the mundane, a quiet symphony— Maturity bloomed, a tender fruit to bear.
Once colossal
mountains, my past’s grand peaks are now mere foothills, softened by time’s
embrace. I forgot, sometimes, the tears and heartaches, For freedom’s kiss had
left its trace.
My lifelong
sprint, a desperate flight, Seeking solace, a guide to mend my soul. Yet, no
one knew my silent plight, Until the Savior whispered, making me whole.
Pain, stubborn
and clinging, I had to release, Essential alchemy for a rebirth divine. His
hand, extended, offered sweet peace, And I surrendered, letting His light
shine.
So, let us walk this path, hand in hand, Past’s shadows fading, hope’s fire aglow. Sadness, then joy—a symphony unplanned, Freedom’s journey, where redemption flows.
