Guiding Lantern, Part 2

Follow the fruits set before you,
those moments of sweetness and grace,
the gentle whispers of guidance,
the quiet nudges towards goodness.

Avoid the thorns behind,
the regrets and the pains,
the mistakes that try to cling,
the shadows that seek to pull you back.

Don’t stray from the path ahead,
even when it seems unclear,
even when the fog of doubt settles,
for the Lord’s light will shine,
a beacon in the darkest night,
a promise of direction and hope.

Let the Lord be your guiding lantern,
a steady flame in the wind,
a warmth in the cold,
a light that never dims.

Follow where He leads,
through valleys and over hills,
through calm and storm,
for His way is true and sure.

Lean not on your own understanding,
for our sight is limited,
our wisdom incomplete.
But trust in His deeds,
in the works of His hands,
in the plans He has laid out.

The road may seem rocky and rough,
filled with trials and tests,
with challenges that seem insurmountable.
Yet He’s guiding you through,
each step a lesson,
each stumble a chance to rise.

It’s just a bump in the journey,
a momentary hurdle,
a brief pause in the grand adventure.
Don’t let it discourage you,
for every path has its obstacles,
every journey its trials.

We all need encouragement,
a word of hope,
a gesture of kindness,
to keep to the path so true,
to stay the course,
to hold fast to our faith.

Stay steadfast and faithful,
in the face of doubt,
in the midst of struggle.
And you’ll get your just reward too,
a promise fulfilled,
a dream realized,
a journey completed in grace.

Trust Christ, Follow Him, and He will lead the way!
