Summer's Descent
Summer's Descent
On a sunlit day, the river’s call, A boat drifts gently, free for all. The air is thick, the heat intense, Sweat drips down, the tension dense.
Through verdant woods, the current flows, A hidden path where mystery grows. The boatman’s eyes, a shadowed glance, Hints at secrets, a perilous dance.
The waterfall roars, a distant sound, A thrilling fear, where fate is bound. The sun dips low, the shadows creep, As hearts race fast, the waters leap.
In the twilight’s grip, the boat does sway, Toward the edge, where darkness lay. A summer’s tale of heat and fright, Where day turns swiftly into night.
