GUIDING LANTERN

Follow the fruits set before you,

Avoid the thorns behind.

Don’t stray from the path ahead,

For the Lord’s light will shine.

Let the Lord be your guide,

Follow where He leads.

Lean not on your own understanding,

But trust in His deeds.

The road may seem rocky and rough,

Yet He’s guiding you through.

It’s just a bump in the journey,

Don’t let it discourage you.

We all need encouragement,

To keep to the path so true.

Stay steadfast and faithful,

And you’ll get your just reward too.
